While the PS4 did in fact  sell more than the Xbox One during the whole month of June. The Xbox One managed to sell more during the E3 Week as told by Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg in a tweet ( article below ).

So with this recent article and another stating that Microsoft's console was the most watched conference on twitch, does it mean that to general consumer, Microsoft has "Won" E3? What do you guys think?

Not surprised, E3 was the week before Batman bundle...

Ms is grasping at straws is what i think, seems barring massive price drop bundles they cant really cant out sale PS4 for any meaningful amount of time.

I guess they're next celebration will be for beating Sony for a particular hour? No matter what they try and celebrate, they're still getting their butts kicked worldwide, and have been every month since release.

If the VGChartz numbers are correct (and at least for This month seem accurate) XBO should be at nearly 73k this week.

Did they win E3? I don't know. But I think they're doing quiet well having sold nearly 300K in June in the US. I was not expecting that. They may not be matching the competition or exceeding it, but who cares? There's plenty of room for two consoles (sorry, three) to find success.

Announcement and immediate availability of the Xbox One 1TB version
Announcement of free games
3 free games from the Microsoft store
Backwards compatibility
Slower PS4 sales because people were waiting a week for the Batman Bundle.

No. The new skew just released and announced on E3 day is what did it. The deals helped. Without it would of lost that week. All that for one week is not a victory, it's bleeding.

I'm glad they won E3 week. MS deserved a little victory even if they lost the month. MS showed they have the best exclusives this holiday along with some great deals during E3 and a new bundle. Not taking anything away from Sony, those batman bundles sold amazingly well.

Lol the main reason was because of the Batman Bundle, no one is buying PS4s before then.
