I use PS4 app, and can skip them all after 5 seconds.
On PC, just use AdBlock and you're set.

I've actually noticed that now more ads are skippable than ever. I come across an unskippable one like every few weeks or something.

And on a side note to you people suggesting AdBlock... Shame on you! *wags finger like old man*

The Youtube  app on PS4 tends to desync the videos for me and I mainly watch Youtube on my PS4 Internet browser so Adblock isnt an option for me unfortunately :(

Google presents you ads based on your surfing behavior. So the experience is different for every single user. You probably skipped a whole lot of ads, so Google gives you more unskippable stuff to make some moneyz from you. That's really all there is to say.

Get yourself AdBlock.

Seems to be mixture of skipable/unskipable for me.

I haven't been having this problem. I can ususally skip them after 5 or so seconds. It's only once in a while that a long, unskippable ad pops up.
