Wii. Without it, I can't play Project M or 20XX Melee pack. GameCube compatibility is nice. Oh and great games on the system too that's more notable than the ones on the DS imo.

DS

I'm nostalgic for both but I'll say the Wii. Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword both seem far better than the Phantom Hourglass. I enjoyed New Super Mario Bros. on the DS more than the Wii, but I still think the Wii has a better Mario game with Super Mario Galaxy, and possibly with Galaxy 2 even though I haven't played, and there's also Super Paper Mario. Mario Kart Wii and DS both hold a special place in my heart. The Wii games were also very fun, and the DS didn't have Super Smash Bros., and there's also Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii.

I found the stylus for the a little unnecessary, so I say the Wii's motion controls were better, and had the bigger impact with Sony and Microsoft trying to capitalize.

I'm a handheld gamer... so DS. + Pokemon and Dragon quest monsters = auto win.

Of the two? NDS.

GBA + NDS libraries = awesomesauce , better than GCN+Wii imo.

Which is exactly why I didn't upgrade from the DS launch model. Having a backlit GBA machine AND a DS? Too good.

DS because pokemon and motion controls are booty.

Surprised DS is winning, I thought that was a horrible HH, not even close to how great the GBA was.

The GBA had two great Metroid games while the DS had one awful one. The GBA had one great Zelda game (The Minish Cap), while the DS had two awful ones. They both had one great Castlevania game, but I prefered the one on the GBA. Bowser's Inside Story is better than Superstar Saga though (but this one was the first game, so it gets bonus points for that). The GBA was the first console that brought us Fire Emblem in the West. Both handhelds had Pokémon games and Pokémon is pretty much the same anyway. The GBA had two great Golden Sun games while the DS had one average one. The GBA also had the last Wario Land in the franchise and it was a great game... The GBA also had some great Tony Hawk Pro Skater games which surprised me considering the limitations of the handheld.

I can go on for a while... And to think the GBA was only 3 years on the market when the DS was released.

I assume you haven't played Wario Land Shake It! on the Wii.

I haven't, but I'm well aware that it exists, I even watched a review of the game today (8-bit duke on youtube), I just forgot it was actually called Wario Land as well, I had Wario: The Shake Dimension in my head for some reason. Last Wario Land game on handhelds then.
