Forums - Nintendo - What is the worst case scenario for the NX?

Complete apathy.

Around the Network

NX is actually a mobile phone... that works with amiibos.

Worst case? The NX essentially being a Wii U with a another stupid gimmick.

No third party support

Marketing still sucking ass

Iwata and Reggie still being in charge

More terrible decisions from old out of touch execs.

Amiibo still in full force.

Combine all that and you have the recipe for a shit sandwich. Hopefully i'm wrong

- Max Payne 3

Worst case scenario for the NX specifically is that it gets cancelled

The worst case scenario ? If the NX is a nuclear bomb and explode the whole earth in an accident...I can't think of a worst scenario.

Being as powerful as the first computer ever, no games at launch and with a price tag of 1 billion dollars.

I mean, that's the worst case scenario.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Death of Nintendo's home console division.

Beeing an overpriced shitty phone that the game only works if you use amiibos.
Not too far of what I think the NX will be...

I was actually gonna write a topic about this. There's a lot more ways they can go wrong than right, lol.

The worst case would be that the bottom of the portable market also falls out from under Nintendo and the console stays the same/decreases. They pretty much would no choice but to give up on dedicated hardware at that point.

Well ... actually the worst case would be all that happens and they make the hardware is some stupid way that loses them a ton of money on top of that.
