I guess you didn't see the 2015 retail list? go back some pages.

In what way making a list is downplaying X1 ? IT's just putting facts together to show the truth and stop the " no games " bullshit

Is making a list " Vita vs 3DS " downplay Vita because the library is a kinda smaller than 3DS one ?

If you do a Vita vs 3ds list, it will be the 3ds fans who will be mad about you, because the vita got more games coming than 3ds, who got a really really weak year (same for 2014, a little better for 2016).

Both got good games anyway, so who care.

Well they could say " yeah games for japan that will stay in japan" ignoring the fact that most vita games get localized ( i have no doubt about tokyo xanadu and Saga or the horror game from Nippon Ichi, they will all get localized, with or without PS4 help)

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I'm amazed at Microsoft's %. It's way too high.

That backwards compatibility is real.

Accept its not real BC compatibility.  I also assume it could have been day one if Microsoft didn't want to bank roll Halo MCC.

I liked everything PS showed except the FF kiddie game and I'm in the middle of Dreams (at least it's entirely original).......I'm honestly not that much into kiddie games that aren't Nintendo. They showed a bunch of games that might be console exclusive which is nice. Minuses, only a glimpse of Until Dawn (comes out in a month, show me something better) and the morpheous game. Why not the heist game?
And it was a bit messy but that's it.

Microsoft had a pretty good conference but with less bombs. When you're only bomb is limited BC that may or may not get support I can't see you winning. Not trying to downplay it, but I need to see how much support it gets from developers. Most the big 360 games have been remastered already (Halo series and Gears remake which I'm sure are on the list). The Rare replay, aren't a the best ones on BC already?( If anyone can answer that, it'd be nice.) I did love some of the games shown like Dark Souls and Recore. Still debating whether I should wait on TR or not. Missed Scalebound and Quantum :/
Also Halo slowly becoming COD now is dissapointing.

Nintendo, honestly can't judge (didn't see it) but from what I gather it wasnt that great.

It's real BC, just not hardware BC. And I'm responding to the % bump being so high. The people who voted on those polls are INTERNET gamers. People like us who know their shit. BC is a pretty big deal to that group of consumer.

I have a different viewpoint.  I think they do know whats going on but I don't think what was presented (patch BC) is the reason for the high percentage.   (Then again you may be right because I can not explain the % otherwise).  I am of the oponion that the show what very tame due mostly in part to the fact that everything was already know going in... except for BC...

All depends on what you look for in a conference really. If it is for hype and excitement, I think Sony delivered. If you want to know what games you will be playing this fall, Microsoft delivered.

XBL: NathObeaN | PSN: NathObeaN | Steam: NathObeaN

Surprised it was that close considering it's IGN. The Xbox community there is extremely tiny.

Sony showed one game that interested me, Horizon. But that's a Guerrilla game, so my hype is extremely skeptical. Although I might be forgetting something. I am interested in TLG.

But if you are someone interested in a FF7 remake and/or Shenmue 3, I could see why Sony's conference would have been amazing for you. For me personally you could combine Shenmue 3, FF7, and TLG and that would start to approach Rare Replay. So to each his own.

Well the announcement of FF7 remake it self is worth the entire history of Video Games Industry, SONY just killed the hype of the future E3, so Microsoft and the rest is just nothing in front of SONY E3 2015 hype.

It would have been tremendous if the annoucement was made at the beginning of the generation Alfredo-San. Maybe that could have been something that could have somewhat turned around the Xbox One's fourtunes.

Absolutley the bolded Nath-San. If anything, in my personal opinion, we as gamers were the real winners of E3. Sans Nintendo, PC, and EA, Square, Bethesda, Microsoft and Sony all brought the house down from start to finish.
