Uuuuuh if they can't get THAT to run on the Wii U, I'm sorry but they suck at their job. I can understand CARS and other big titles and such but this isn't even impressive for its genre.

Well look at Double Helix's Strider. On 7th gen it was 720p/30fps. On 8th gen its 1080p/60fps.

It could be a similar situation for this game, the inferior specs is going to get a less polished product. This is a small studio so this isn't going to be the best optimized game in the world. Especially if its getting ported to about 8 platforms.

It's always interesting to me that so many people only think about how a game looks when someone talks about technical specifications. Aren't things like level size and the number of simultaneous events on screen more important?

Umm, and why do you think stuff like that would be a problem? It's running on the Vita and 3DS, right? Or are those more powerful than the WiiU? lol.

I didn't say it was, as I have no idea.  However, the idea that graphics are the only thing that affects performance really makes no sense.  As far as the Vita and 3DS, aren't handheld versions often scaled back in many areas without the graphics changing?  lol.

I mean, it's pretty ugly on all systems.

Is not ugly. Is simple.

It's ugly. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is simple but beatiful. Mighty No. 9 is one of the ugliest games I've seen this generation.

Instead of trying to understand the reasons behind the porting trouble, it is obviously better to jump to hasty conclusions and bash the game and its developer.

Geez. I didn't realize people were so down on this game. I thought it was a fairly highly anticipated release. I haven't spent too much time looking at footage of the game but I thought what I have seen looked fine. I didn't think it looked ugly anyway. Hmmm

I think the worst part is that Mighty is a 3 million dollars game. It should not look that ugly.

Have you seen the game? I've seen better looking kickstarter projects with 1/10th of the money raised.

Even the gameplay is quite bland and boring. I played a couple of levels from this game and if this is what Mega Man is like than I'm glad I never played a Mega Man game.

How many projects does Inafune have currently? I doubt all that money went on the game alone. Making anime games from unproven KS games is just one big WTF.

Well, yesterday he just started 2 more kickstarters for an anime and a game called Red Ash, basically  Megaman Legends 3 spiritual clone, which it will probably look like crap when he actually decides to show gameplay of it. So that's 4 projects, Mighty and Red Ash with their respective anime/cartoon.

He didn't say anything about the game being unpolished. All he said was it was "harsh" due to the "specs" which he probably meant engine.
