Im sick of people saying be happy its coming at all, because the fact is that im not going to get it. for me, its as if it isnt coming. i only buy physical copies of new games. im not going to waste a bunch of space downloading this game. i want the disc, i want to own it forever. i want it in my collection. so fuck all that, im not happy that its digital only. its a bunch of bullshit.

So you don't actually want the games then?  All you want is the box to put on your shelf.

In that case, I'm surprised you're bothered about this at all.  You can get other trophy boxes to put in your collection.

Seriously though - I get it.  I'm similar about physical media.  But I'd never skip a game if it was the only option we have, because at the end of the day I play games because I enjoy games, not boxes.  Digital-only is a way for companies to bring games across that wouldn't otherwise come to the west.  If that means it's completely off the table for you to play, then whatever, but you're going to be looking at a rapidly decreasing game library over the coming years if that's your attitude.

i do want the game. i want to be able to hold it in my hand and keep it forever. im not supporting digital only releases of games like this. there is no reason to not make a physical copy of the game. they are just being greedy.

let me ask you this question though, how many times does this have to happen before YOU personally see it as a problem? i draw the line at one game, for you, im sure if this happened more and more you would be quite annoyed, ESPECIALLY when considering the low amount of storage that is on the wii u in the first place. im not taking any part in supporting this kind of stuff. if other people dont mind downloading it and playing it, then i am happy for them that they get to play it. but i want my physical release, and they should be catering to that audience.

Well, personally I want the game, but not badly enough to get a digital copy, which I have never done. I would much rather spend it on the thousands of games that have a physical release that interest me.

What people need to realize is that one day there won't be a physical option (no matter what Reggie says). It may be 50 or 100 years from now, but I'm confident it will be a 100% digital world one day so we should just get over it now. there are more important things to concern yourself with.

I hope there's a physical version. If Fatal Frame V is digital then I can't get it sadly since i only have the 8gb Wii U model. The file size of the game is 16gb. =(

If there is no more physical releases, then I will just stick with the older consoles. There are more physical games that I can buy than I will ever be able to play in my life that I won't be bothered missing out on the digital-only releases.

Your willing to sacrifice more advanced and modern games just because you like to have discs that get scratched and chip? Well, ok then lol.

How much more modern can games get? I take good care of my games, so they don't get scratched or chipped.

The price on games like Harvest Moon, Burning Rangers, Metal Warriors, and even something like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time would skyrocket immensively.
