2 XOne The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 390,037

global

huh.. i can believe a big advantage for PS4 but that seems too much, no?

The estimates based on 4m official figures...

PS4 ~2m
Xbone ~700k
PC ~1.3m

So looks ok for the first week... same ratio... 4 million is 2 weeks figures with digital.

Yeah this makes sense to me.

No that would mean a second week almost as big as the first week for XB1 version which looks unlikely. I think your split is wrong and VGC seems to have more favourable PS4 ratio than reality.

The split is right (or most close to) and include digital... there is evidence from CD Projekt RED that PS4 version did close to 2m and PC is confirmed 1.3m.

BTW that is the NPD ratio.

PS4: 420k
Xbone: 275k

It is the most strong Xbone territory... UK was 63% for PS4 and 32% for Xbone.

You maybe right then. Its strange as Microsoft had the marketing rights and an XB1 bundle with the game.

Even with MS marketing, TW is a series that's very strong in Europe, where PS4 install base has a huge lead, this made the difference. No surprise about PC  numbers, TW was born on PC in Europe and PC is strong in Europe, so regional preferences both for HW and SW deliver a perfect synergy to that version.
