Well, as for now the only games that sold 1 million on WIU are Mario Kart 8 and New Super Mario Bros U... Probabily even Smash will eventually.

So, do you think will Splatoon break 1M mark in Japan?

Splatoon is doing better than Mario Kart 8... so, please. We all know is possible.

You SERIUSLY stop to underestimate this game.

Splatoon isn't doing better than Mario Kart 8. It's done better in certain weeks, but not in terms of total sales.

However, I don't think this is impossible. It just needs continued support, advertising and future bundling to get there. Which all seem likely. This could be another Yo-Kai Watch situation (except with a better opening, of course).

Yes, I believe it will achieve 1m in Japan. Its turning out to be a lot like Yokai Watch but for the Wii U, and if these sales are sustained and the legs are good, it will reach 1m.

The reason of the super Mario Kart sales, like the other Nintendo games, is the legs. The first week can be big, but usually nothing of extreme.

Splatoon as for now, in term of legs, is doing better than Mario Kart, and is A FACT.

it definitely can but according to vgchartz, Mario kart 8 hasn't reached 1m yet so I'm not sure if splatoon will be able to reach 1m. Although total Mario kart 8 sales is ahead of splatoon by 159k. Still I wouldn't be surprise if splatoon do it looking at the recent legs.

Oh, I get that, believe me. I just wanted to point out that technically Splatoon isn't doing better in terms of totals. In terms of legs, it is outperforming MK8 though.

800k-1m seems possible to me. It's funny that just a few months ago, many believed that that could be the WW LT sales of the game.
