Yep you got it lets take what really matter s on human irrational thinking and why earth being destroyed because of it.

Take California for a huge prime example we have built cities and towns more and more on desserts or places with little water because we now have the technology to bring in water else where. Any other animal in this world when a place doesn't support life the animals migrate, humans use to do the same thing, see ghost towns. Now because of people's less and less use of the natural (common sense) instinct and we want a perfect world mentality we are slowly destroying other Eco-systems so we can send water to people living on deserts. If the place can't support life do not live there, sorry that's life.

Which leads to my point if a gay person living in a small town that doesn't support gay marriage should probably move to a place like San Francisco migrate to suppot your way do not force others to support your decision.

are you seriously trying to suggest that we should force minorities to move to less hostile locations because life tends to naturally migrate away for inhospital enviroments?

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

Technically, wouldn't this be government getting smaller? The Supreme Court made it so that states can't pass laws banning gay marriage.

Nobody is forcing you to like gay marriage or support it in any way and Churches still aren't required to perform them either. This just means that the government (at any level) doesn't have the right to discriminate against same sex couples when it comes to marriage.

There is actual a pretty good legal case against displaying religous text on government property, there is really no legal case against gay marriage.

I'm not talking just government buildings I'm not places of private businesses or houses or a person merely saying Merry Christmas

Those are two very different things. Everyone has the legal right to display religous text in a private business or home, and there is no such law against saying Merry Christmas.  You don't however have the right to keep people from being upset about it. Just like is somebody wanted to hang a Soviet flag from their house, people would be pissed, but it would be their legal right to do so.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Very happy to see this finally happen nationwide after so many states had supported it.

Sad day that we as people have an idiotic belief that we can make society PERFECT with every decision a the bigger government makes by saying this is right because we said and we want perfect world is delusional. We lost all common sense that the world is never perfect and forcing people to do what THEY say is wrong.

It's funny how the United States was form and became a super power not by force but by showing what a free country can be if citizens have right to choose what they want. The United States wasn't super power when it grew so please do not bring up the beginning. Now it's almost backwards thinking force minority thinking on me because I say so. There are states and cities that support gay marriage so forcing other states to recognize it is bullying by elitist government we now have.
So we can force all states to recognize something like gay marriage but can't force the minority who do not believe in God to stop bitching because 10 commandments are on a building.
If seeing words like thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal bothers to sue you are the problem

It's a sad day that this post was made.

"Sad day that we as people have an idiotic belief that we can make society PERFECT with every decision a the bigger government makes by saying this is right because we said and we want perfect world is delusional. Of course nothing is perfect.  That does not mean we don't try to make things better.  And this is EXACTLY what the Supreme Court was designed to do.  To ensure that all states are complying with the US Constitution.

It's funny how the United States was form and became a super power not by force but by showing what a free country can be if citizens have right to choose what they want. The United States wasn't super power when it grew so please do not bring up the beginning.

The United States became a super power for various reason, and force was a huge one.

Now it's almost backwards thinking force minority thinking on me because I say so.

Who is forcing anything on you?  Nobody is forcing you to like gay marraige, support gay marraige, or have a gay marraige.  Don't like gay marraige?  Then don't marry a dude.

This provides more choice for citizens.  It does not in any way limit the choices you previously had.  The only limitation is that you can't tell people how to live their lives, which is something you shouldn't have been able to do anyway.

There are states and cities that support gay marriage so forcing other states to recognize it is bullying by elitist government we now have.

We have a very different idea of bullying.  See, bullying is telling people that they cannot choose who they want to spend their lives with.  Bullying is keeping a child from being adopted from a loving household because you think anal sex is icky (and it is icky).  Bullying is publicly sending a message to gay children that they are, in their very nature, flawed and wicked.  Only a person with a profound lack of common sense can argue that giving people more choice is bullying.

So we can force all states to recognize something like gay marriage but can't force the minority who do not believe in God to stop bitching because 10 commandments are on a building.

Ah... So here it is.  It always comes back to religion, doesn't it?  Your interpretation of your special little book says that gay people shouldn't be married.  So of course, other people should have to live according to that rule.  That is what bullying is.

And the reason that they can't force that onto a minority is because the constitution exists to protect the rights of the minority.  And, if you look at the very first ammendment of the constitution, it explains that the government cannot force people to abide by religious rules, whether those rules come from Exodus or Leviticus.

If seeing words like thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal bothers to sue you are the problem

Yeah, it does bother me to see any religion endorsed by the state.  Let's take some verses from the Quran, put them on a courthouse, and see how people like it.

Please explain why the government should have any right to prevent you from marrying another consenting adult.

So, you support married couples not being alowed to visit each other in the hospital?  Kids being taken away because their partner can't adopt and discrimation against interracial couples?  Cause that's what will be into place without these kinds of ruling.

"Sorry, Mam, we don't believe in interracial marriage here - so you can't visit your dying husband, suck it up and Freedome!"

"Sorry Mam, we belive marrage is only for couples that can produce children, so your marriage isn't leagal here. Freedome!"

"Sorry Mam, I don't believe in same sex marraige - so eventhough you legally adopted your wife's children, now that she passed, we are taking them away and giving them to strangers.  Suck it up, Freedom!"

Wow, you really don't get the kind of radom chaos that would be your 'ideal world.'  The USA wouldn't work - no commmon laws, language, dollars, etc.- it would be a few communities all fighting each other and wasting efforts and efficiency.   Like accient Greece.

For the record, the Roman's built aquaducts thousand of years ago - as did settlements in South America, possibly long before that.  So you want to also outlaw Air Conditioning, electric power, cars and roads - cause they all are unnatural.  That will surely make life better.

No one is 'forcing' others to support your decion - but accepting and respecting the laws of the land, the people, and the US Consution, yes.

Sorry you don't get that the world is a step better becuase of today's decision.  But you can probably take your own advice and move to Russia where they are making crazy backwards laws against gay people.  Maybe you would be happier there.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

This is horrible news, at this rate the horribly archaic and shitty institution of marriage will never be abolished.

Not nearly as bad as the time that guy was given life in prison for having an American flag on his car. ;)
