Are you so sure about that?  Where was Microsoft when Sony is helping out with Shenmue 3?  Where is Microsoft helping out Capcom by funding Street Fighter V like Sony did?  If they don't want another fighting game because they have Killer Instinct, then why didn't we hear them state that they will be funding Devil May Cry 5?  I mean seriously...Capcom just announced that they will wait and see if they can make DMC 5 based off of the sales of DMC 4 special edition.  This article surfaced just days before E3 and Microsoft could have jumped on it, but they didn't.  Capcom is practically begging for someone to fund them and "M$", with all of their money, is doing what? It is funny how a company who has tons of money is doing nothing for gaming, while the company that is "going bankrupt" is helping out developers left and right.

How is that, what is shown above, any different than a kickstarter?  So if Sony helped out Capcom with this game, would you lash out at Sony for doing a charity/funding for DMC 5?  Where were you complaining and sharing your feelings about the "charity" when the Street Fighter V announcement surfaced?

I agree man. Shenmue 3, awesome! But not like this. I dont want the game if it's made on a tiny single digit million budget. I thought the relationship with Sony was similar to that of Bloodstained. I thought their support was signficant, more than just marketing, but they can't even provide kickstarter exclusive physical PS4 copies.

There is no other choice, either with kick starter project or not more games coming is always good.

It's sad some would rather see Shenmue 3 never see the light of day, if it means something even remotely positive happening for Sony. The worrying about Kickstarter and all the other hullabaloo is all just port begging being masqueraded.

I dont know why you assume that Sega had any respect left. Sega ceased to exist with the merger, Now sammy rules over Sega and the glory days of old Sega are not going to come back.
Shenmue 3 is happening. I wish Sony had funded it, but i prefer something rather than nothing.

I'm gonna reply for the bolded statements only.

1st one is simple: because MS doesn't have much fanbases in Japan. Moreover, Capcom used to be giant game company but now they're just a shadow of their former self. So of course they too have a pride

I'll be buying DMC4 SE just to show them I want the former white-haired one with his team, not some jerk-emo-gothic dude from DmC and I want continuation from 4 and not the reboot one. But I can't say this as the whole fans. Most of the fans may not forgiving Capcom anymore and seeing their double release of 'Definitive Edition' of both DmC and DMC4 are downright pathetic and money begging. Sure they also provide a special survey inside the game but it's too late. They have paid the price for not listening to the fans and the loss is too much.

I am sorry that I provided not one, but three examples of where Microsoft had the opportunity to fund games but chose to look the other way.  I also provided relevant information with a source published 12 days ago about one of these games.  The source ALSO provided a strikingly similar scenario to the kickstarter of Shenmue 3 at Sony's E3 press conference by stating things like:

1.) "Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition [could] become the last release of the series", so players "need to support the new release" to help fund DMC 5.

That sounds very similar to the Shenmue 3 kickstarter annoucement except without the exposure and funding.

2.) "Apparently the game will be coming with a special survey that will be used to gather feedback on the game"

You can donate $5 dollars to the Shenmue 3 kickstarter so as to provide suggestions or general opinions. 

So where is Microsoft funding DMC 5 in full or giving it exposure on their E3 conference stage?  So now you have Sony who is funding Street Fighter V and Shenmue 3, yet here you are lashing out at them for making it seem like a "charity".  You put Microsoft in good light for doing absolutely nothing and praise them based off of speculation and what you think they would have done.  Now you are presented with three cold hard facts (Coors Light) of where Microsoft could have funded these games but chose not to.  When you are presented with the truth, you just want it to go away by stating that this is "irrelevant information".  Dodging at its finest.
