Which game looks better?

They are two different artsyles.

But obviously KH3 looks better.....it's the less cartoony one. WW HD's faces look like a kids show but the environment still looks nice.

Wind Waker is just a remaster of a thirteen year old game. It would be pretty sad if it would be better than future 8th game Kingdom Hearts.

You may like the esthetics of Wind Waker better, but technically it's no contest of course. That I'd say WiiU wouldn't have much problem with this game if some effort was put in a port.

Similarly pretty bloom and similar simple textures.

Kingdom Hearts Particle effects and geometry in certain places are beyond anything we've seen on Wii U let alone Windwaker. Compare 0:47 to the low poly geometry we saw in the December Zelda demo. The game as they built it wouldn't run on the Wii U, it would be one of the more plausable ports but gotta remember its running on UE4 which doesn't natively support Wii U

It'd be a lot of unecessary work considering 90% of Kingdom hearts fans intend on getting a PS4 in future of other RPGs (persona, FFXV, Type 0, FFVII, Tales of.... Other adventure games like Rime, The last Guardian,No Mans Land, Horizon). Maybe if NX comes out before KH3 would could see it happen as a joint effort between Nintendo and Square.

KH3 is just more impressive all around, and this is the game as it is with a release date of "in development", meaning we may have even been looking at what was basically alpha gameplay on maybe slightly more prettied up early beta graphics. KH3 is going to look even better as we get closer and closer to the final product.


Well, more like 7.1 or 7.2 at most.

if u want to do it as accurate as possible compare the graphical power (gflops)

xbox360/ps3: ~150 Gflops

Wii U: ~450 Gfolps

Xbox One: 1100 Gflops

Ps4: 1700 Gflops:

 

Xbox 360: 7th gen

Wii U: 7.3th gen

Xbox One: 7.7th Gen

Ps4: 8th Gen

There's a lot of people estimatimating lower figure for WiiU because we have no hard numbers. But for me it doesn't matter, because independent of WiiU specs it have a handfull of really good games.

look at this fanboysm. being 1080p + new effects puts wind waker hd at ps3 level. KH 3 looks unimpressive for an 8th gen game. that means a 1 gen distance at most.
