Love both, but gotta go with Zelda. It has better consistency with it's quality. Also, not a fan of having MMO entries.

So much love. Charm. It's brilliant (the 3D ones, but 2D are still great!).

The world is especially fascinating. And the story.........the story is emotionally awesome!!!
It just needs Voice Acting please.

Zelda for me. It's just more my kind of game. I did enjoy ffIX. Though it wasn't nearly as good as Chrono Cross.

Another great poll would be ff7 vs Ocarina of Time.

Older titles are comparable in quality but FF games are much longer. Zelda 3 - 5 and FF 6-8 are among the best games ever created.

Newer games in both series are just boring and did not live up to my expectations. Zelda gets more and more childish and after the boring and slow battle systems in FFX and XIII, FF becomes a stupid button mashing action game with FFXV.

FF solely because VI-X were near fucking flawless. imo

Let's put it simple, if all Zelda games should die for single FFVII to live, I'll happily see them all burn and turn to ashes.

I'd have to say Zelda.

After playing FF6 & 7, I thought Final Fantasy was unstoppable. But that was it's prime, sadly. These days I'm pleasantly surprised when they don't suck. Not all Zeldas are equally hot, but their quality has been preserved better than Final Fantasy. The last one, A Link Between Worlds, is considered among the best by me and many others.

I gotta go with Zelda. I much prefer the exploration and boss fights in that game. Going through dungeons and finding items and treasure to tackle the bosses as well as to find hidden items is part of its unparalleled magic. I'm going to have to say Zelda wins this for me by a large margin.

Hmm i'll go with The Legend of Zelda, because dungeons, items & explore bizarre things.
