... please be sarcasm.

It is not, the man has been doing all he can to put the PS4 down for some time already.

I bet he didn't even watched a trailer because if he did it's just hard to believe he does believe what he said.

It's simply the most demanding console game shown to date, by far.

Not at all.
It looks great though, so no surprise it's only 30 fps.

I have no problem with Zelda being 30 fps, so I'm not going to be a hypocrite here. Online needs 60 fps though.

Which game would you give it to then?

The amount of animations and it's fluidity, the amount of physics computations going on and the graphical fidely Uncharted 4 showed me I haven't seem anywhere else in any console game to date.

The two first points not even on PC, while the thjrd point can be argued by the better renderind quality PC games can attempt as 4K, but even so the graphical quality in Uncharted 4 at least in human models I haven't seem yet, but I really don't have much knowledge about the big PC showcase games as Star Citizen, but my post was about consoles anyway.

God of War 4. :p

But seriously, I was most impressed by Horizon at this E3.

As for PC, crazy things can be achieved with mods.

Whatever...... just as long as the gameplay is smooth, I'm good.

If Naughty Dog can't do 60FPS, 1080P, maybe nobody can on PS4. Not counting low graphical games.

That's the thing, though. The sheer amount of stuff that ND is animating in the game make it very difficult for 60FPS to be reached on the PS4's architechture (I'd imagine). Sometimes a game's technical prowess cannot be measured in numbers.

Hell, I don't even like Sony or the PS4, but even I'll admit Uncharted 4 is the most impressive console game is existence right now, from a technical standpoint.

I third this. I don't think it's the most graphically impressive title we've seen, but when also accounting for everything else it's accomplishing on-top of those graphics (stuff that titles like 1886 skimped on), i'm inclined to see it as the biggest technical achievement of this gen so far.

It'll be interesting to see what the MP looks like though, assuming 60fps is the final target. I expect that means the MP will follow closer to the design philosophies of 2 and 3 rather than 4 (just with prettier graphics), but i suppose we'll see when the NDH comes out.

I assume it is because the maps are not as large. No loading screens in SP and quite a lot of stuff going on, and it is also a large physical world (I do believe). In MP there aren't any NPCs or AI either

*edit* whoops I half mis-understood you there haha   as a sidenote I am excited to see how the MP turns out as well

Yeah, I'm the same; Bayonetta 2 had a framerate that flucuated between 35-60fps, but I preferred it to a locked 30, which wouldn't have conveyed the same sense of speed.

Because it has a good v-sync solution. My preference would be:

60fps > fluctuating between 30-60 with good v-sync > 30fps locked >>>> fluctuating with bad vsync.

As long as it doesn't have stuttering, I'm fine with it.

Hoping for an unlocked frame-rate option then.

4 ≈ One

Gears of war 3 was 30FPS with some slick motion blur effects and it was so fucking smooth.

I don't necessarily think 3rd person shooters benefit from 60fps. So long as they don't drop. But the GOWU beta is incredibly smooth at 60 so I don't know.
