I don't think it's the most graphically impressive title we've seen, but when also accounting for everything else it's accomplishing on-top of those graphics (stuff that titles like 1886 skimped on), i'm inclined to see it as the biggest technical achievement of this gen so far. It'll be interesting to see what the MP looks like though, assuming 60fps is the final target. I expect that means the MP will follow closer to the design philosophies of 2 and 3 rather than 4 (just with prettier graphics), but i suppose we'll see when the NDH comes out. |
I assume it is because the maps are not as large. No loading screens in SP and quite a lot of stuff going on, and it is also a large physical world (I do believe). In MP there aren't any NPCs or AI either

as a sidenote I am excited to see how the MP turns out as well
