Besides Pikmin 3 and DK, there is also Woolly World which seems to be the best Yoshi game since Yoshi's Island, Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade Chronicles X and Fatal Frame V.  Nintendo might also announce some new April- October 2016  WiiU games in future Directs, it's not out of the ordinary.

That's great and all, but I can only handle so many mixed B rated titles from Nintendo.

Is it to much to ask for an exclusive Zelda, an ambitious 3D Mario, or a new Metroid game? Just one of those?

Xenoblade X is good though and Bayonetta 2 got good reviews, buts it a rare third party exclusive in an average line up of games.

Plus I have a feeling Xenoblade is going to be left to die at December with COD and other third party overshadowing it because Nintendo is too afraid to spend more money on Wii U games that aren't mainstream (yes Splatoon is mainstream because its a Nintendo shooter).

No, it's not too much to ask at all. Any company with half a brain and any respect for its fans would have made all three.

They did: Metroid Prime Federation Force. :p

I flat out told him a Wii U Metroid would not happen and his response was "wait and see".

It would be ideal to have all three of those, but it is what it is sadly.

I would say yes, even though I would think it would be some form if a hybrid. 

Actually, yeah. He could be refering just to the console side of NX. But then that means there can be games that are not shared between the platforms, doesn't it?

lol nintendo can stop joking now, we all now this digital event was just a late april fools joke right. Its over nintendo now give us the real metroid game you been working on :)

Im a big fan of Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter and Syphon Filter. FF7 can go suck a d! If only certain fans didn't drink the Kool-Aid so readily. T.T
