Nintendo showed only 2 new Wiiu games at E3, one of them being that bullshit Animal Crossing Amiibo game and the other being Mario Tennis. Nintendo also didn't show any early 2016 WiiU games. Instead they spent like 10 minutes on Star Fox, 5 minutes on Yoshi and another 5 or 6 minutes on Mario Maker. I'm surprised they didn't spend 5 minutes on Devil's Third as well.

SMT x FE

I was hoping for an unannounced one, we've known about SMT x FE for 2 years and a half now!

Nintendo don't understand they need to create hype for the future of the Wii U. The console will have games in 2016 but they decided not showing them because they think the focus is only 2015.

They haven't dropped support for the Wii U, of course not. But it's really evident that support is slowly tapering off..

iwata needs to go. he is dragging this company into the ground and he has no idea what he is doing. iwata, myamoto and riggie all need to get sacked, and they should bring a new CEO from oversea's that actually knows what to do.

i keep hearing that nintendo has a lot of talent, well isnt it a shame that its being wasted on mario tennis, project robot and project guard?

He'll be around. After the mobile announcement, they are pretty much golden. Nintendo has their fingers in too many pies now to be considered in a vulnerable state. You're just thinking of home consoles and Nintendo is far more than that now.

their core business is making games, once that falls apart the rest will follow. giving licenses to their franchises wont work if their franchises decline in sales and lose their popularity. sooner or later, people will get tired with amiibo's. and if their salvation is mobile... then guess thats the worst possible thing to happen to them. to become a mobile gaming company... they might be making money, but they wont be "Nintendo".

If they're not giving up on Wii U, then where are the big new games for it?

Nintendo threads are funny :)

To OP, Nintendo is well.... Nintendo. And its fans are it's fans.

It's somewhat criminal that Nintendo left out three of it's most diverse and interesting 2015 exclusives (Fatal Frame, Fast Racing Neo, and Devil's Third) during a presentation of it's 2015 releases... greatly criminal, now that I think of it.

EDIT: the inclusion of those titles wouldn't have saved the conference, but it would have softened the blow significantly.

I liked the content just thought it was a bit amateur and unorganised.

Its as you say. Their core business is making games....right now. Doesn't matter if its on a console or on mobile. Nintendo didn't start out making video games. It started out as a card company. They also owned love hotels and sold instant rice and vacuums door to door. Nintendo has done all sorts of things to evolve as a business. Maybe we're all witnesses to another evolution.

Alright, these threads are really getting out of hands but I personally think Nintendo is giving up on the Wii U.
