Those are games that +thousands of fans been begging for, for nearly a decade. Sony delivered, and captured the gamers spirits.

But FF7 doesn't belong to them....no more then Tomb Raider belongs to XBox fans. Still find it difficult to believe that Sony saying The Last Guardian still exists counts as a megaton.

But hey, if that's what you guys want, then more power to ya. But in all that glamour, they kinda left the rest of this year in the hands of third parties, while MS has a stacked lineup and is bringing backwards compatibility.

Guess what I'm trying to say is that MS used to be criticized for leaving some years barren only to focus on the next one, as well as relying on third parties. MS is announcing 2016+ things, but also giving us things in the near future. Sony is banking on the idea of what the future will bring, while taking it easy now just because they are the market leader. Just my persepctive, but ok I see your points.

I think thats quite a sweeping statement. I mean they showed The Last Guardian, which they've been working on and off since 2011, which most companies would have binned by now. Horizon, an open world RPG which has obviously had a lot of time/effort and money put into it. MM making some weird *ss stuff, more than 2 years, which lets be honest isnt something I would have bankrolled. Then you have UC4 which looks like it pushes 3rd person shooters to the next level and has been in development for a while. Have God of War remaster, Uncharted collection this year, as well as Until Dawn. They have a multitude of other studios making stuff which are not ready yet.

So I dont think you can say they taking it easy, Game development is hard, it's not like they are sitting on their hands counting the cash.

All they did was confirm that The Last Guardian still exists.......they made a 2009 announcement repackaged for 2015. FF7 would be huge....if it was a PS4 exclusive. It is timed and therefore posed no big "win" then Tomb Raider does for Xbox.

3rd party DLC is something MS did for years....and was criticized for. Horizon was a great surprise, but MS showed Recore and Sea of Thieves. The new IP reactions are all subjective, I get that, but it ain't like MS was a slouch in new IP announcements. We know Uncharted and TLG would be gorgeous, but it aint like Halo 5 and Forza 6 were lacking in their presentations either.

The big things Sony showed are all 2016 and later while 2015 will have Uncahrted Collection as their sole heavy hitter. MS has a stacked 2015 lineup and is doing backwards compatibility.

Given my response, I look forward to your reply.

This is not a discussion about which console has more games releasing in 2015. That was already stablished with previous threads showing that PS4 was going to get around 4 times more games this year than XB1.

This is a discussion about who won E3.

E3 is not to beg people to buy your console in the holidays, its about the feeling of gaming. Its about surprises and new games. Sony delivered.

4x the games this year....but how many will be good? How many are AAA? How many will people actually care about? But that's another discussion.

Where as my quote tried to bring a logical deconstuction to the tabel, you are telling me that "winning" E3 is emotional. The idea of hope and potential, rather then tangibles. Hype over reality. In that regard Sony won hands down. MS on the other hand, was far more grounded. I'd prefer that anyday.

But if anything please tell me why a timed exclusive FF7 and repackaging a 2009 announcement for 2015 (TLG) is a big deal? Guess it's the idea they represent.....but that doesn't exactly translate to Playstation. Seems like the "dreamers" won, those who never stopped believeing these games would come,  more then Playstation did.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Didn't get a chance to watch the PC conference

Pretty much what i think about this E3.

Just add pc conference even behind nintendo, it was awful. And boring. And long.

Never again i will watch a pc conference.

Sony had FFVII, TLG and Shenmue 3! It's really hard to top a conference that had those games.

But E3 isn't just about what happens in the next month. That excuse to downplay any conference is laughable at best to me.

And you calling out the bias is doubly laughable, to put it gently. We all know who you are here.

Can you stop  with the jeering?

He's stating his opinion, say why you think that the time to release isn't important, because I could easily tell you that a game announced 4 years in advanced (a gross exaggeration) should obviously be unacceptable as an e3 megaton.

Give him facts and stop attacking him.

Sales isn't getting attacked, Hynad is making counter points to sales points, if Hynad is jeering then so is sales as he started the whole bias argument. In addition nothing Hynad  said was incorrect, so please stop trying to make things seem what they are not. We get it, you and sales are upset 99.9% of the gaming world agree that Sony beat micro, but going around and around in circles trying to fan small flames into big ones is really not necessary.

Thanks jlmurph!

I don't remember seeing the annoucement that you became a moderator. Surely I missed the memo.

As for the rest, considering our history, I would ask that you don't interact with me ever again. But since you did, I will direct you to my edited comment, which was edited before I noticed your backseat moderating comment:

Thank you. And I hope you won't reply to me again.

You'r ridiculous. Not a little, really ridiculous.

You can't understand at all, we don't freacking care if ff7 is exclusive or not, it can even come on OUYA, we DON'T.CARE.

We just know that the remake really exist, same for the last guardian, same for shenmue 3 and are really happy for that. And because of that, yeah, this sony conference is one of the best of all time.

And ff7...sorry, but it translate to playstation. It was one of the first jrpg to come here and bring lot of others jrpg to the west thanks to his great success.

Sony fans = PS4
Xbox fans - X1
Nintendo fans = Crying.

It's obvious who i thought nailed it.
