Why is Zelda HD delayed?

1) Eji and Zelda team faffing around to make each game have an artitistic new look that always appeal more to Nintendo fans than most gaming fans

2) Wii U sales

3) Eji and Zelda team are horrible in meeting deadline for console Zelda games since Windwaker (cut content)

4) Did I forget to mention Wii U sales?

edit

5) Nintendo was horribly unprepared in making HD games this gen... And Eji wants to make the first 3D open world Zelda game with no loading screen since Windwaker (which also had cut content)

Glad to see we have accepted the reality about the incompetence of the Zelda team, the mismanagement of the franchise, that the Zelda fanbase is now filled with side projects and the fact that Wii U will be the first Nintendo homeconsole without an exclusive core iteration the moment they announce the NX version.

As others have said, it could be evidence of the NX replacing the Wii U.  If not, they probably reserved Wii U announcements, because it seems unlikely to me that they aren't developing any other Wii U games.  The 3DS games are not big enough that they don't have any other people available to work on anything else.

Why would they not announce their Wii U games at the years biggest gaming conference and announce alot of 3ds games instead?  BTW Ive been a nintendo fan since NES and this is not their worst conference (cough wii music cough) but where there is smoke there is fire... it seems like they are lessening developmentment of Wii u games in favor of 3ds games... such stating what I saw..

That is definitely not the case.  Look at the 3DS games they announced.  They do not require that many resources to make.  Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam reuses many assets from both Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.   Triforce Heroes reuses many assets from A Link Between Worlds.  Some of the other games aren't even being made by Nintendo.  Fire Emblem If/Fates should be already done with development in Japan, and only needs localization.   The Metroid Prime spinoff doesn't look like a particularly big game for develpoment.  In what way does this show 3DS games are being made in place of Wii U games?

How not?

Retro helped to MK7

Monolith to Skyward Sword

Namco to Smash

I don't get what you're trying to say.  Are you simply misunderstanding my point?  Or are you claiming those games you named are spinoffs?
(Technically, spinoffs CAN be big games, but I mean games like the one mentioned in the OP that heavily reuses assets from a previous game).

Theyc ould have reused assets from Ocarina of Time 3D to do a good Zelda 3DS, or even reuse ALBW to do a real Zelda, not a multiplayer low budget game that nobody asked.

They probably did it because they needed a game fast (it's releasing this year).  There's a good chance that the 3DS' life will be ending soon, so they needed it before the 3DS lost most of its remaining momentum.

Oh I accepted the reality long ago when I saw how low the Wii U sales were at the end of 2013. I bought this system for Smash, not to be jerked around for a promise of Zelda when Skyward Sword showed up 4 years too late last gen.

Anyway, maybe you can agree that this online Four Swords Adventure is actually a good annoucement now

Does star fox zero look like a game that requires many resources.. were the graphics mind blowing?.. how about yarn yoshi? or Mario maker?  Same could be said for those games... they use old engines, or are not the sort of games that would require majority of nintendos resources..XCX is the only game that looks like it requires alot of resources to make..

I see you don't understand my point at all.  Star Fox Zero does NOT reuse assets from a previous game (in the way I referred to).  Graphics do NOT have to be the best thing anyone has ever seen in 5 years for it to use a lot of resources.  Yarn Yoshi also does not reuse assets from a previous game.  Mario Maker is less about the assets and much more about creative implementation and the ideas.  No, the same CANNOT be said for those games.  Even if you can claim confidence that they are, indeed, running on an engine previously used, running on the same engine and ACTUALLY REUSING THE EXACT SAME ASSETS ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS.

Don't talk about stuff you do not understand.

Honestly, not. Firstly because I didn't asked for and second because if we keep eating everything they throw at us they could take the wrong message and keep doing the same next gen. I want real Zelda games that actually looks and plays ambitious that doesn't take forever to be developed because a clown wants to reinvent the wheel everytime.

You did read what I said earlier, right?  That it is probably a sign of development focus on the NX like others have suggested?

You didn't like Four Swords Adventure? That's one of most best Zelda spin off ever.

Man you're a boring Zelda fan
