Come on, you think this game is the reason why Zelda U is being delayed because this game is being worked on? it's already being released this Fall so it's been in development for a while just like Zelda U.

We all know why Zelda U is getting delayed and this isnt why.

Any Nintendo fan should know by now their is a handheld nintendo dev team and a console team.

Why is Zelda HD delayed?

As others have said, it could be evidence of the NX replacing the Wii U.  If not, they probably reserved Wii U announcements, because it seems unlikely to me that they aren't developing any other Wii U games.  The 3DS games are not big enough that they don't have any other people available to work on anything else.

I don't get what you're trying to say.  Are you simply misunderstanding my point?  Or are you claiming those games you named are spinoffs?  
(Technically, spinoffs CAN be big games, but I mean games like the one mentioned in the OP that heavily reuses assets from a previous game).

Why would they not announce their Wii U games at the years biggest gaming conference and announce alot of 3ds games instead?  BTW Ive been a nintendo fan since NES and this is not their worst conference (cough wii music cough) but where there is smoke there is fire... it seems like they are lessening developmentment of Wii u games in favor of 3ds games... such stating what I saw..

1) Eji and Zelda team faffing around to make each game have an artitistic new look that always appeal more to Nintendo fans than most gaming fans

2) Wii U sales

3) Eji and Zelda team are horrible in meeting deadline for console Zelda games since Windwaker (cut content)

4) Did I forget to mention Wii U sales?

5) Nintendo was horribly unprepared in making HD games this gen... And Eji wants to make the first 3D open world Zelda game with no loading screen since Windwaker (which also had cut content)

Theyc ould have reused assets from Ocarina of Time 3D to do a good Zelda 3DS, or even reuse ALBW to do a real Zelda, not a multiplayer low budget game that nobody asked.
