I doubt this, why should they have announced the FF7 port at Playstation Experience 2014 if they knew that they will bring a FF7 Remake?

But it is Square Enix, nobody knows what they do. If the rumor is true, it would be very awesome!

I mean, this is actually a credible news source. Not some random blog that said, for example "our source is trustworthy because he knew Kinect would be removed" (something everybody knew).

Siliconera isn't some obscure gaming site that's desperate for clicks. They have given correct information in the past, and it wasn't something people saw coming a mile away. They're the ones that leaked the Tales of Zestiria port for PS4, for example (a game Bandai Namco said they wouldn't make for next gen).

That being said, I really don't want to get my hopes up. So, trustworthy source or not, I'm taking this with a grain of salt.
