Forums - Gaming - Seems Sony Is Going To Win This E3?

sigh every year people don't get it.

The winner is always the gamers.

If 'winning' E3 is purely about positive PR then yes.

Sony did have decent games in 2013 though, like the order, infamous gameplay, ok now I think not much, i'm sure I missed something out.

Oh yeah, the PS3 stuff, Beyond Two Souls, GT6 ad TLoU.

There's usually a consensus for who won. People generally that agree that these companies won the last few E3s:

2014 - Nintendo

2013 - Sony

2012 -  Ubisoft

Speak for yourself. And by what Criteria? MS had a decent 2013, in terms of games, but most everything else was terrible. Ubisoft did well in 2013 with the division reveal and new watch dogs gameplay.
Sony played safe last year but did well still.

The generally agreed upon consensus was that Sony won 2013. I'm clearly not talking about everyone's personal opinions here. I'm not even talking about my personal opinion.

So, it's a bit early to say who will win, especially since I'm a Nintendo fan and I'm informed/I care only about Nintendo games. That said I think it shouldn't be taken for granted that Sony will win, both Microsoft and Nintendo have certanly many aces up their sleeve that Might take them to winning this E3.
I'm gona talk about Nintendo since it's the only one I'm awared about:
Nintendo last night did an amazing job whith NWC, creating a lot of Hype both for games that are already out (MK8, Splatoon and Smash) and new ones (Yoshi Wolly World, Mario Maker, the newly announced Blast Ball that hints sospiciously to Metroid and last but not least Earthbound Beginnings), to all of these we have to add the leaked Hyrule Warriors port for 3DS and the almost confirmed Animal Crossing U due to the AC characters Amiibos. Now, to all of these games we have to add Devil's Third, Star Fox, probably Zelda and maybe Metroid U, as well as some new stuff that nobody is expecting as usual from Nintendo and maybe even a few third party games.
Now to me this looks like the best lineup Nintendo had in the last bunch of years so it certanly will be a busy year for gamers if Nintendo isn't the winer at the end of E3

Edit: You know what? Actually not worth the attention

Shenmue as an exclusive would be big news.

But you've been here a long while Soundwave. Its VGC. It doesn't much matter what is actually shown, it will be a 'Sony victory.'

Whats more important I think its the timeframe we get for a lot of these games from Sony and MS and their partners.

That's interesting. Most people here agreed that Nintendo won last year.
