My son leveled up Mario, Starfox and Kirby a little on smash Bros and he did the same for Peach for his Sister- but otherwise they have rarely used them- I even bought them a Sheik in April or May and he is still in the box - I don t think they have used any of them since

The gameplay value for Amiibo is minimal- You can go into most any store that stocks them and find tons of the "non rare" amiibo s on the shelves - Nintendo knows this and knows the gameplay demand is low and only the collector aspect for "rare amiibo" (due to artificial shortages) is high

Ahhh, so you've gone digital already? I'm going for the SE (already got it pre-ordered). Having Epic Yarn as a reference and the co-op are my reasons, the plush is a plus.

Had Link in my hand a couple times, because it was Link, but I don't really have much use for it other than collecting purposes for which there are obviously far better options. Maybe if there would be a Zelda series Link for Zelda U I'll get it.

I do want a Wooly Yoshi though simply because of it's looks, but sadly every store and website on the planet is sold out of them...
