Damn thats some expensive DLC right there, gotta buy a shitty watered down version of the game you already own for 2 characters. Thanks Nintendo -__-

Mewtwo was free to owners of both versions of Smash Bros early on, but for those who only bought one, it was still available as DLC.

Any reason to think a similar thing won't happen here? Or are you just jumping the gun and assuming that this deal is the only way to obtain those characters in the Wii U version?

Why? Why is this game being ported to 3DS?

Give me my purse, I'm out! *mumbles while walking away* freaking 3DS getting Wii U ports when they're not necessary.

RGE locked his thread for some reason, but for those who haven't seen it:

The crossbow is visible to the left of Tetra's head. No character wields the crossbow in Hyrule Warriors. However...

Don't be silly, that crossbow is clearly being wielded by Agatha's foot. And that's not even in the Top 100 weird things about her.

Hahaha. Well you got me there.

Weeellllll, there is the amiibo-exclusive Spinner weapon. That isn't available as regular DLC. I think you could be right, but I also think there will be more than two characters added. I'm expecting an expansion similar in scope to the other expansion packs.

Very surprising indeed!

Guess Hyrule Warriors is not a Wii U 'exclusive' anymore :p

If they really want people to invest in this a second time, then this better provide a different experience from the first...
And I hope the difference isn't just two characters...
I want Linebeck...
And let me add my name to te list of users who didn't see this coming...

Have a nice day...

Well, it certainly comes with the DLC characters from Hyrule Warriors. Also the title translates to something like "Hyrule Warriors Allstars", so it seems to have more content than the Wii U version.

I looked at the picture in the trailer and the three paid DLC characters from the Wii U game were missing. I think it's too early to make any calls on what DLC will already be included in the base package of the 3DS game.

Dont know if you saw it already but if you go to the front page again and look at the 3ds box art for hyrule warriors tingle is on the box right above zelda so at the very least we have the majoras mask dlc on cart.

They're going to have to hack this game to pieces to get it running on 3DS.

The Wii U version already struggled with the vast numbers of characters in play at once, and 3DS has a weaker CPU than the Wii, much less the Wii U.

How do u know the main objective is to get people who bought the Wii U version to buy it again? Isn't it more logical that it's to sell the game to the millions of people who own a 3DS but not a Wii U?

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Wow. Screwing over the people who bought it on Wii U.
Good job!

But then again 53 M userbase of 3DS cannot be compared to 10 M userbase of Wii U so i am glad they releasing this on 3DS
