Nope, history shows that Mario Kart is Nintendo's best (Even Smash Bros generally can't overtake it in sales).


I think the only game Nintendo could possibly release that would de-throne Mario Kart for general sales success would be a full-fledged Pokemon RPG on the Wii U.

History also show that Splatoon is already a bigger sistem seller in Japan...

If I remember correctly, MK8 actually raised the Wii U's baseline to 60k for weeks after it's launch. I'd be shocked if a new IP like Splatoon could match that.

So I'll say no.

Splatoon won't do that. Wii U be down YOY in May and June.

Under 100k. Mario Kart 8 got a lot of people to buy a Wii U. I don't see Splatoon having the same pull.

To be honest, I have no idea.  We don't have information about how much splatton move Wii U sales.  It could be a big jump or a small jump
