I don't think that will happen so soon. I think it's better for Microsoft to continue offering the two choices. At 350$ for the 500GB, it's not a bad deal, especially considering the console supports external HDDs.

He got one "right", X1 got a price rise with the 1TB models... that is the closest to not being utterly idiotically wrong in quite some time.
