Given this post in the thread by the thread author http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7336987 its quite clear that the discussion is around home consoles.

So can we please drop the arguments around what this topic is about and get it back on track.

that wasnt your point because you brought 3ds into to make your company of choice look better, now you are moving more goalposts when that argument was put down. 

Sony is winning the home console race, which is what was being discussed from page one. But you knew that already

People fail to point out, this is the first time PS & XB went head to head AT THE SAME LAUNCH TIME.

When ps2 and 360 launched first, it had obvious advantage. power was swept under the rug or excused bc of launch. but now that there was a REAL showdown, Sony won bc it gave ppl what they wanted.... how can a financial heavyweight like MS get knocked out by a middleweight?

it is beyond shameful that MS didnt match or exceed w/e sony was doing, MS could have made sure with AMD. The voices were loud that ps4 was a superior tech machine for the money spent. oh 3rd party games look bettr on ps4? sold.

just a joke, sony rockin that blast processing.

I personally think it was nintengo and MS  errors that have Sony winning, the PS4 is not extraordinary, is just does not suck.

Because they got the most things right and pissed off the least people.

Not if we count gaming computers though. Which also by definition are consoles (and I didn't even bring that up, but it is true).
