I'll go with option one. I'll take the 5 great games with 20 good games. I burn through games then trade them in and get more games. One thing you didn't mention was how long you would have to play those games.

Platform 2 but that's not very realistic as, in IRL, I find that quality and quantity show up on the same platform.

I, sorry, missread the OP...guess then it would be platform 2, there is too small of a difference in quantity to matter. Now, if it was more like 30 to 20 I'd go with platform 1, as originally stated.
Platform 1 is better because it has more games, what is good is pretty relative to everybody
Depends on how many of those are remasters.
