I probably need to start losing some weight. Took up kendo and iaido a few years ago and along with the daily walk I take with my girls it's helped at least stabilize my weight but it hasn't been enough to help me lose any. I'm told I wear it well but even at 6'5" I know 380 pounds isn't close to healthy. Put on a lot of weight after sort of being thrust into fatherhood, managed to give up heavy drinking, gambling and whoring cold turkey, but replaced those vices with over eating and soda, so much soda.
Never put much thought into diet, when I was a pup I worked out so much that everything balanced itself out. Doctor recommended I see a dietician but something about that makes me cringe, feels like such a girly thing to do to me for some reason. Just wish I could clockwork orange myself so that even the thought of vanilla coke makes me violently ill so I never had to worry about soda again.
