Lol, Im a PC gamer and even I know that excuse is ridiculous and anyone who uses that line is clearly desperate. Most people simply dont have time for PCs, prebuilt or custom . The vast majority of gamers play on consoles, PlayStation and XBox to be exact.

I feel that there is absolutely nothing wrong with remastering games, first and third party alike can do whatever they like.  But for some reason the negativity towards remastering games points directly at Sony oddly.  Where I feel it's only because there are some remasters (third party ones) that was never in demand.  Again, third parties need to do what they need to do to make money, but they could at least remaster games that people would want?

I'm actually hoping Sony would do a R&C remaster treatment in time for the release of their movie *cross fingers.  Good promotion all around =)

You know I was thinking possibly I could see about that pokemon Remake on the 3ds of Ruby and Sapphire... but now, never have I heard so many people who were not in any way invested in Sony complaining about a game coming out for the PS4 as TLOU:R I will have to miss out on that kiss sadly :<

Well, people love remasters and they want more. I´m going to save this thread as a testament when somebody talks about apoligism in this regard.
I hope they made many more remasters on the future since the fanbase would be super happy :D

As for how long i'm willing to accept this stuff, indefinitely. Even though i don't buy many of them myself, remasters don't hurt me. They take relatively little effort to make (with many simply being outsourced to studios created specifically for such tasks), and they make a lot of people happy. As long as that continues to be the case, i'll support them.

Really tho, you had it in your OP Rubberwhistle " i seriously dont get it. there is a disconnect between me and some of you who think this kind of stuff is ok. " look over this thread at how much people are not upset by a game coming out on the console they own which as you said also in the OP you haven't invested in nor see a reason too, why does it get under your skin so much when it's on a system you aren't buying?

Like a bunch said tho during this thread, Sony+3rd parties will publish games that people will buy, so the reason there are HD remakes, ports and remasters on their system is because the consumers buy them. Simple as that. The opinions of someone who isn't one of their customers thinking along the lines of " how long are you willing to accept this kind of stuff? how many times does this have to happen before you say ENOUGH with the remasters?" does not have any impact on what gets published on a system.
