Hmmmm, good question. Is OP counting handhelds? 3ds and Vita both came out in 7th gen, technically, so are they part of 7th or current gen? 


The 3DS and PS Vita are part of 8th gen.

No. PS4 and Wii U. My Wii U is for Nintendo games and my PS4 is for everything else.

Nope. I mostly play on PS4 and have a Wii U for a bunch of games I want to play, namely XCX, Bayo2, SMNxFE and Zelda and that's it.

In terms of quantity and quality (too much shovelware), OS speed, interaction, features. MK and Smash don't cut it for me. I really think that they cold've saved the Wii U with strong software backup. They lost their vision with the success of the Wii and DS. I want a Gamecube style of library (expanded, of course) and I would be fine. I still see lots of potential in this system - too bad it will be wasted.
