Splatoon off to an ok start. Remember that the WiiU does VERY poorly in the UK.

UK is not a very Nintendo friendly country, France/Germany seem to embrace Nintendo a bit better.

5th fastest selling game for Wii U sounds about right where people were expecting. Not surprised that the number is pretty low sometimes there isn't any Wii U games in the top 40, Wii U is doing pretty bad there.

Splatoon is likely just under the 20k mark. That's not too bad for a new IP on the Wii U over here to be honest, no doubt it'll perform well in the long term using word of mouth. Will be interesting to see how it performs elsewhere.

Splatoon came out on friday (or was that just here in Luxembourg?), so it had only very limited time to sell last week. Still, I was hoping for a bit more than this

I really want people to stop saying this in UK threads. That's how it is for the majority of game releases.

Splatoon did ok for a Wii U game is probably a fair assessment. I would have liked for it to have done better though
