Still waiting to play Halo Wars 2

Around the Network

So while downloading this day one update for halo wars 2 I noticed something. The download speed lies. On the right of the download it says it's downloading around 50mb/s. So it should do .1 gb in about 2 seconds. To do 2.82gb should take about 60 seconds. But it's been 10 minutes and I'm only at 66%. Just doing some simple math tells me it's actually downloading at about 3mb/s.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Nice. Will probably get another month of EA Access shortly before the Mass Effect Andromeda launch.
I hope they will finally do a Mass Effect DLCs sale until then, so I can play some more of that. Kinda unlikely though >.>

Mb/s is not the same as MB/s.
Xbox shows Mb/s (which is the same as Mbit/s). 8Mb/s = 1MB/s.
Therefore 50Mb/s in your case should be 6.25MB/s. But by the data you prvided it actually does 3.1MB/s.

50MB/s would be insanely fast. What kind of internet connection do you have? Is 50Mb/s the theoretical maximum you can achieve (not just on X1)?

I pay for 60mb/s download speed.

Got xcom 2. It was half off on the Xbox store and couldn't resist. Playing on easy cause I know the game can be brutal. I renamed and changed my starting 4 character to Jamie Lannister, John snow, Sansa stark, and daenarays targarian. House colors and all. You could say I'm obsessed with GOT.

Xcom2 is amazing :D enjoy, halo wars 2 looks really good, I don't usually post in this topic since I don't own an Xbox yet but I bought the ultimate edition on pc and the game is really enjoyable so far :) Blitz mode is also very innovative and xbox games have been king of co-op (the campaign is playable with 2) and multiplaer since it was launched, no change here.

I am going to dive in the campaign soon too, the story and movies look really good from what I've seen so far. Can't wait to replay it on Scorpio at the end of the year too, going to be amazing to crossplay my games

If you pay for 60mb/s and you really get that, then you can download 2.8GB in a little above 6 minutes. 10+ minutes is definitely more than 6 but faster than 6 minutes isn't possible for you even if you get the full speed you pay for and even if your Xbox downloads in that speed.

The servers are probably getting smashed.

Took me a few hours to patch.

Phil Interview during Halo Live

- Confirms no Halo FPS this year

- Says there will be Xbox Exclusives and PC Exclusives (Don't believe him about Xbox Exclusives Could see Age of Empires being PC exclusive though)

- Xbox Team now runs Gaming as a whole for Microsoft

- When asked what games he's looking forward to this year he replies "Some of them we haven't announced yet."

Still holding out hope for a Halo 3 Anniversary to coincide with Scorpio.

Or maybe Gears 2 remastered for Gears Ultimate Edition as a download?
