Looks like Fable Legends may have been delayed due to not even being shown.

To be honest, this looks every bit as gimmicky as Kinect ended up being. I feel like this is going to be Kinect all over again, a device with potential that is never fully realized due to technical limitations, which will be abandoned by most users before technology can advance enough to realize that potential. I really wish MS wasn't so focused on this, they have nearly as many 1st party studios working on HoloLens games as they have working on XB1 games, now that Twisted Pixel is gone I think it's 9 XB1 / 8 HoloLens -_- |
Yeah, I can definitely see it used by architects, scientists, engineers or for something like in a museum but for gaming something like Oculus or Morpheus will definitely be the way to go the next ten years or so.
Just tried out the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands and I'm honestly surprised. The story has potential and the gameplay seems to be improved as well (although not thaaat much).
Already liking it more than the 2nd season of The Walking Dead.

It's the best story/acting out of the Telltale games.

Come on MS, you have 8 first party studios working on HoloLens games while XB1 is struggling to even keep pace with PS4 in it's strongest market, partially due to the fact that XB1 has half as many exclusives as PS4. *sigh* |
Hopefully it will go down in price, maybe the second version will be a lot cheaper. Or maybe they will have a cheaper version? Idunno I didn't watch the event.

Dev kit. Not the consumer product. For reference a PS4 dev kit is 2500.
The hololens is a product that doesn't need to be plugged into anything. Its basically a PC on your face.
I haven't paid too much attention to Hololens, but haven't they repeatedly said that it ISN'T aimed at gamers? At least for the time being?
I also know admittedly next to nothing about the studios they have working on apps/games for it but somehow I highly doubt those studios would be even remotely equipped to produce quality core games for Xbox.
Edit: ok you posted it already^^
New Forge sounds amazing. I worry about the effects of releasing it a good month late though. I mean it doesn't bug me much personally, but it sucks for the content creators, and it's an excuse for critics to mark it down even if everything else is aces.

That's not accurate @ the bold just fyi.
@forge news
I'm honestly shocked that it's really delayed. I thought for sure I would end up wrong about that. Is fun to know I broke the story 4 days ago though lol.
