There's also the studio gobo or whatever they are called game with MS and the 2nd party Gears of Wars game.

Electric Square is the Studio Gobo game http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2017-10-10-studio-gobo-brighton-rebrands-as-electric-square

Have not heard bout the 2nd party Gears game, can you give info?

A few months ago ryuu posted something about someone being hired for some studio that isn't the coalition to work on a Gears of war game.

Also I would drop your expectations for Electric Square hugely now, I've been looking at their new job postings and there's suddenly a lot of F2P & Mobile mentions (Still says a known IP).....Best we can hope for is a Fable Legends revival with a Mobile Companion App at this point

I would be really mad with MS if this was the case, this would just be a massive waste of the IP.

Overall: 528 achievements - 17,738G
(November '16: 308 achievements - 6,940G)

Phenomenal month for me. Also thanks to WoodenPints for the competition this time.
Now for the games I've completed this month.
All achievements: Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, Armikrog, Goosebumps The Game, Ginger Beyond the Crystal, Virginia, Tachyon Project, Spheroids, DreamBreak, #IDARB
Story finished: Sniper Elite 3, Grow Up, Laserlife, Yooka Laylee, Mega Coin Squad, The Food Run

Armikrog. Classic point and click adventure with some terrible puzzles and annoying puzzle controls. Main characters are boring as they almost never speak. Game is short. Only the unique artstyle can impress. After 2 hours and 30min I got 1000G. You can't do much wrong as the game is very simple.
4/10

Goosebumps the Game. Another point and click adventure, but much better IMO. I've read some of the Goosebumps books so I was familiar with some of the monsters in this game. Overall I think the puzzles are a bit too cryptic. Some trial and error is involved as well. Decent though. Got my 1000G after only 3 hours. With a guide though. Much longer without I imagine.
6.5/10

Ginger Beyond The Crystal. A platformer and a bad one. Platforming sucks, camera sucks, enemies suck, your own move set sucks, glitchy, frequent stutter throughout the game. Stay away. Game doesn't track time. roughly 8 hours for 1000G
3/10

Virginia. One of those Walking Simulator. Artstyle is quite beautiful with the exception of character models. No one talks during the whole game. Story is told in a terrible way. Really confusing and the ending sucks. Not a single puzzle to solve. Has a shitty achievement that demands you to play through the game a second time. Roughly 3-4 hours to get 1000G. Game doesn't track time btw.
4/10

Tachyon Project. A fun shoot em up that even genre rookies like me can master. Has a pseudo story but who cares. You should get 1000G within 5 hours.
7/10

Grow Up. Basically a platformer where you have to grow large plants to get from a planet to a distant moon. Game looks beautiful once you get used to the blocky nature of the game, especially once you get high enough.
8/10

Spheroids. A platformer even worse than Ginger. Terrible enemies and you can only shoot a rope straight up or straight down. 3 hours for 1000G though.
2/10

DreamBreak. Many see it as a spiritual successor to Another World and it is in some aspects. It's not nearly as trial and error like as that game though. Puzzles are also pretty simple. Art style is your typical 8 bit stuff. It's enjoyable enough to not feel like a waste of time. Only 2 hours later you should get 1000G.
6/10

#IDARB. Really old at this point and I never played it like it's supposed to be played but it looks very chaotic and I find it hard to properly control. Pretty average, but playable. 1000G in 2 hours.
5.5/10

Sniper Elite 3. Honestly I was disappointed with this one. I really liked Sniper Elite V2 and while I don't remember that much about it, I feel like I had more fun with the previous game. Killing someone with your sniper surely feels satisfying and the X-Ray shots are great. But if you play this game seriously, you're probably going to kill more nazis with your silenced pistol than with your sniper. You're getting spotted frequently and have to move to the next cover every 2 shots. It's definitely more fun to ignore stealth and just kill your enemies as you wish. Story is extremely poor in this one. Game is quite short too with only 8 missions. Each lasting about 30 minutes to 1 hour. I just hope Sniper Elite 4 is better.
7/10

Laserlife. A rhythm game where you control a pair of lasers with each of your thumbsticks. Music wise it's pretty much techno. I didn't go for 1000G, but you should get 800G within 2 hours.
6/10

Yooka Laylee. Popular enough to recognize this game as a platformer. I wasn't that impressed at first. It was decent but once you get all or nearly all of the upgrades, it's getting pretty fun. Puzzles are decent, graphics are good, characters are likeable, good length. In short, it's a good game.
What bothers me a bit is the level design. It's in no way bad, but it's really confusing. Even after playing a stage for several hours I still get lost often. The bigger issue is the camera.
8/10

Mega Coin Squad
. Another platformer. it's tolerable. No story, only 16 levels that last about 1 to 2 minutes each. Only goal is to get a lot of coins. Controls are a bit slippery but overall I think I had a little fun with it. I've defenitely played worse.
6/10

The Food Run. It's a puzzle game. Basically what you expect from a mobile game. Really simple, not much to talk about.
5/10

November gaming summary:

Super Lucky's Tale - 23 achievements / 1000G

BioShock 2 - 23 achievements / 620G

South Park: The Fractured But Whole - 19 achievements / 585G

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 - 10 achievements / 190G

Life is Strange: Before the Storm - 11 achievements / 300G

Plants vs. Zombies: GW2 - 1 achievement / 50G

Assassin's Creed: Origins - 7 achievements / 120G

 = 2865G

AC: Origins is pretty great so far. It's just that I don't have much time to play these open world games right now, it's frustrating. Couple of years ago I probably would have completed it already.

Yeah I'm also a fan of WW2. The Zombies are a great addition to the game also but a bit too hard.
The only problem I have is the loading times and server issues.

Hey guys. Since I can't create topics yet, I figured I'll write my story here. I recently ordered a 4k hdr tv along with an xbox one x, ready to make that jump.

After watching some digital foundry videos, the difference is stunning. So, excited to unbox the console, and what do I get? An Xbox one s in an xbox one x package.

All is good though. I called the store where I ordered it from and they will send me a new one. But damn man, it's really a messed up feeling you get, getting that box open to see an xbox one s. Makes me wonder how this could have happened in the first place. Maybe it was opened before by someone already and sent back to the store.

That really sucks but at least you'll get your Xbox one X eventually.

Yeah, no worries. I'll go to japan on Monday. I'll get to enjoy it after 2 weeks. I wanted to share this for laughs xd

Is it just me or does some of Recore's soundtrack have some Halo in it? I'm sitting in Joule's crawler and it sounds hell of a lot like Halo 5. It's not the whole time but there are some notes that really sound like I've heard them before.

Bought a 1TB One S for less than 200€ yesterday. Decided not to buy One X as of now because it is 3 times more expensive. Glad to be back on Xbox. Will finally play Cuphead sometimes later.
