We might get OG Xbox games on GWG to promote awareness of the feature.

I don't think you'd need to get a lot of them at all. We already know there won't be all that many of them being made backwards compatible period, so it's not like they'll be some brand new GwG staple, where you get one or two every month.....but why not hand one out every now and again. It's not like these will be games that anybody expected to sell any more copies of (at least not in any meaningful capacity), so if you've already got whoever you need to agree to put it on the new box, how much harder could it possibly be to get them to agree to make it free while you're at it? I'd wager not very. Some classics might command some value for a month or so, but after that, you're not getting anything for them. Give em away, make people happy, gain some favor.

Where can I find the list of discounted indie games? Tried looking for those on Xbox.com and through the Xbox store but didn't see anything.

MS' problem is they only care about 4 months of the year and push all their shit in the fall to get set out to die by the big AAA games. They need to spread things out.
