But he's totally right. Project Gotham Racing was miles better than any Forza Motorsport. It would be a better alternance to have PGR for standard circuit driving and Forza Horizon for free-roaming fun, than two Forzas, with Motorsport going into decadence.

I'd say you're high, but I know from past conversations that outside of Dragon's Dogma you have literally the worst taste in games of all time. So it's ok, I'll ignore all this nonsense you're spewing right now. 0% chance of MS ever throwing away money by reviving PGR in place of one of their Forza games.

No, we most certainly can not. And I actually liked PGR, but it's not as good an arcade racer as Horizon, and not a sim racer period. In other words, MS has no use for it at this point. Having it take the place of either Forza game would be a huge downgrade for them.

I meant for the rest of this gen. They don't need FH 4 this gen. They should save that for next box.

Yeah, it baffles my mind that it has taken Polyphony 4 years (2013-2017)  to make a game with 177 cars and 19 tracks. In that same 4 years (2013-2017), Turn 10 has added 500+ cars and 13+ new tracks to Forza, not to mention dynamic weather and dynamic time of day, while also managing to assist Playground with Forza Horizon some and while managing to do a limited PC port for Forza 6 and a full PC port for Forza 7. Sure Polyphony started from scratch for PS4, but Turn 10 also started from scratch this gen with Forza 5, and Forza 5 had 200 cars and 17 tracks, that's more cars and less tracks than GT Sport, but still, they did it in 2 years, it has taken Polyphony 4 years to do it.

Turn 10 is a source of immense frustration to me, because they are a sign that Microsoft can properly manage a first party developer to consistently deliver a high quality series. 

Sure they don't have to come up with a new story or anything each game, but they are innovating regularly, delivering on time etc.

Pgr was good but it's not quite a sim, nor was it comparable to horizon either. I'd rather they start a new ip entirely.
