But in all seriousness, a Silent Hill game can barely sell a million (only their very first 2 games have surpassed a million which means the series fanbase is shrinking), and without Kojima the new Silent Hill game might not have the same feel to it.  

Unless................Microsoft bought Kojima himself for billions!!! (along with the franchise)

Nope the IP is owned by Konami watch the whole video apperently Konami is selling most of their IP's since they no longer want to make console games anymore and just concentrate on mobile games.
