Eh I dunno. It's a bit pricey for the amount of content (in the US at least). I'm leaning towards no atm.

Nope. Not even slightly enough content for the asking price.

Hey at least it has "too much fun" in it, so its definitely worth the price

Well you can wait august for enough content, or you can play right now and still getting more content.

My thoughts exactly :)

Yeah, but only because my gf wants me to XD

I'll get it day 1, because it looks fun. The $60 price tag in the US though is kind of a rip off though.

Yes.
#1 Because it was flippin fantastic to play
#2 Because I buy all the games... Sad but true, I believe I have 30 yet to be opened current gen games xD

Day one purchase at target for the water pistol for my son. I am buying it because it honestly looks like an insane amount of fun.

Yup, I like the premise, had a quick go of the Testfire which gave me a taste for more and it only costs $60 here in Australia. (cheaper than most new games)

I'm getting it. It's cheap here, but also cause all the reviews have shown that it's a really fun game, just lacking content.

The lack of content doesn't bother me since I know there's going to be free modes coming in the future. So really I can get it now, have fun for a few weeks, (Maybe longer I don't know) and then I can get really into it again in the summer when the updates come out, all for that cheap price. So I am happy.

Most likely, but not yet. The game looks very fun, and seems to be the sort of energetic shooter I've enjoyed in the past. However, I am going to be moving in July, and will likely be without solid internet for a while. The campaign sounds fun, but I doubt that it is worth buying the game now mostly for that mode. Plus, I think there are only about five maps at the moment.

I'd rather wait until August or September to get Splatoon. By that point, I should be settled in and a bunch of new free content will be in the wild. Tower Control reminds me of Payload in TF2, which is a good thing, and having maps that split noobs like me from ink extraordinaires will be appreciated.
