Those numbers seem awfully high. 2 million PS3s in 2014? That's like 2/3 of hat it shipped worldwide in 2014. Source?

Cumulative sales.

It had sold 2 million total by end of 2014. (So from 2007-2014)

Saw this last year as well.

It seems with the decline in interest for XB in general, that the Swedish market has a decline in interest in gaming.

2009 to 2014 drops are quite interesting.

Sweden -53% -3m
Norway +9% +150k
Denmark -59% -2.2m
Finland -37% -800k

Oddball is Norway actually increasing, though the massive drops in Sweden and Denmark are quite concerning.

Sweden is still the largest market but its marketshare has fallen from 43% to 35%. Norway may have a chance at being top nordic market soon from being the smallest in 2009.

Norway is the country that has managed the best through the financial crisis and the low interest rates have allowed a better individual economy and purchasing power. They have also loosened the strict rules on imports and tolls slightly as of late, which has helped a great deal as well.

It is from "Nordisk film" who are the distributor for PlayStation console in Nordic region (excl Iceland).

DS-games outsold Vita-games, that is funny. What is not as funny is that in 4 months xbone sells more games than WiiU

PSP and PS2 combined also outsold Vita.  A 14 year old system and the Vita's predecessor XD.

yeah i thought it was from Nordic Games. good stuff not sure why and who was this document was intended to. and why it is in English.

so roughly 50% market share for Sony there. and handheld gaming is really somewhat irrelevant there. NHL though in the top 10 but a lot of gamers complained that NHL 15 don't have the game modes they like. still a seller there.

Well, it's market research done in co-operation with Gfk Nordic. So I suppose it's intended for game devs.

So much details in the PDF!Great, thank you teeqoz, sadly it doesn't have hardware sales!:P
You forgot to put wii software sales,it's interesting!
Also,I have to say that I hate the separation of pokemon versions, how idiotic is that....MY GOOOOOOOD!Only the Japanese trackers have them combined,Japanese people are wise!

:P

Great find! Sony doing really well over there. Seems to be a pretty large gaming market as well.
