Yakuza isn't all that big. Bigger than DMC, but in the end, not that big. If anything will push a significant amount of systems in Japan, it will be MGS4, GT5, FFXIII, and FFVersusXIII.

I've been saying it for months, wait for MGS. If that fails to push 50k+, then I'll consider the ps3 damn near dead in Japan.

I hoped the new setting of Yakuza would bring in more people, but good sales nonetheless - the legs within the first week were ok'ish, so there is hope for a good 2nd week in my opinion.

The reason they list is good for indicating 1st day sales is because the list is pure hardcore gamers. Which btw are becoming more rare everyday in Japan. Back in November Lost Odessy was rank higher than WiiFit... look what happed there....

Why are yall fighting up there about PS3 hyped games. Who cares? The PS3 is fine worldwide, and won't die in Japan, so it's all good for the system. Geez, no need to do big flame wars about a goddamn famitsu most wanted list and if it is or is not a good indicator of sales. That's whats called a "childish argument," imo.
