Looking quite good!

Now, when can we expect a trailer of that version? And direct feed screenshots?

And I want to know if there's anything they've added to the game.

There's a new story segment and 2 new party members, Red and Morrie, also streetpass and whatever.

I guess cross your fingers for E3, lol. ;___;

We should be getting a trailer in a few days or so.

Red and Morrie, playable? That's awesome! :D

They're probably playable in the iOS version, right? Well.. I don't game on phones. -__-

They're unique to the 3DS version, for the time being at least.

iOS versions is balls anyway.

Game looks good on the 3DS. I really hope it's localized and retains the localization that it was first given, with all the new sound effects, the voice acting, the better menus, etc.

They weren't. iOS ver. was more of a downgrade than anything else.

I'm thinking this one has a good chance to come over. Its the most modern of the series and it screams new 3ds for camera control.

It wasn't that bad. No worse than some of the PS2 -> 3DS ports.

The extra content should be the driver for those interested in 3DS version. Interested to see how the new character play.

The frame-rate was pretty terrible and I kept getting a few glitches in caves where the ground became transparent

That depends mostly on what you play it with. I was playing in on my Nook HD+ and on my Kyocera Hydro Vibe (Android version.) I noticed that it ran better on my Kyocera Hydro Vibe (full speed) from the start, but that was because it was running at 540 x 960 (Hydro Vibe) vs. 1920 x 1280 (Nook HD+.) Since my tablet was rooted I was able to decrease the render resolution to something around 720p, and the game ran great. Apple devices have high PPI with respect to their GPUs, so I would imagine that the game was rendered at too high of a resolution than was necessary, and for that reason it was laggy. Although maybe the IOS version was different.

My issues with the Android version was that there was no voice-acting and it only allowed portrait mode. When I got my new PC capable of PS2 emulation I decided to start  a new second playthrough there.

Maybe it was because I was using the iOS version that it wasn't running properly, but it definitely had issues on my end.

Yeah it kinda sucked they got rid of the VA. Also missed the orchastrated OST from the PS2 version

More ingame screenshots

A clear downgrade from the PS2 version but it doesn't look too bad, juding by the poster that's the game on the Vanilla 3DS, hopefully it'll have some enhancements on the Newish 3DS similar to MH4G.
