That depends mostly on what you play it with. I was playing in on my Nook HD+ and on my Kyocera Hydro Vibe (Android version.) I noticed that it ran better on my Kyocera Hydro Vibe (full speed) from the start, but that was because it was running at 540 x 960 (Hydro Vibe) vs. 1920 x 1280 (Nook HD+.) Since my tablet was rooted I was able to decrease the render resolution to something around 720p, and the game ran great. Apple devices have high PPI with respect to their GPUs, so I would imagine that the game was rendered at too high of a resolution than was necessary, and for that reason it was laggy. Although maybe the IOS version was different. My issues with the Android version was that there was no voice-acting and it only allowed portrait mode. When I got my new PC capable of PS2 emulation I decided to start a new second playthrough there. |
Maybe it was because I was using the iOS version that it wasn't running properly, but it definitely had issues on my end.
Yeah it kinda sucked they got rid of the VA. Also missed the orchastrated OST from the PS2 version
