R.I.P Iwata. You are Nintendo's Steve Jobs.

A handheld gamer only (for now).

Found an old but light-hearted picture earlier today on reddit (but it's actually from Dorkly):

                                                                                                 Nintendo, Assemble!

Love Kirby (outer space creature) as Thor.

And I can imagine Samus saying this:

"We may not be able to save Mr Iwata but you can be damn well sure we'll Avenge him"

Does my new sig make sense as a tribute to Iwata to anyone other than me? I'm really tired and I might be overthinking this.

Make sense to me I though it was a pretty nice gesture for Iwata, also the emotional weight that this scene carries for me as my favorite Zelda game makes it all much more powerful.

Sounds good, thanks. I was thinking of everything the king says there and just kind of wanted to convey the scene. But I guess people who don't know Wind Waker or who don't remember the ending well won't really get it. Oh well, I like it.

Honestly, I didn't realize you meant it in that way, but it does make sense. That will always stand out as one of the most touching moments in Zelda games, and it's really fitting right now.

I think it looks too much like the king is actually reaching for Link, clinging to life. It doesn't represent the crucial moment where he lowers his hand.

Do you like this one better?

Maybe I shouldn't have Link in there at all, and should just focus on the King.

I'll sleep on it.

Well, I think the recent Nintendo decisions make more sense now and it's clearer why they were announced at that time.

Iwata knew that his time was probably very limited and had to make some more decisions for Nintendo's future. I'm thinking of the DeNA deal and that they don't leave the home console business.
