So I like every other wii u owner played the testfire run, and realized the huge potential for competitive co-operative play the game offers.

It is filled with possible strategy options, costumized characters, different play style options, and approach to winning a match.

What team wins and looses is not based on luck, and if one person falters, the whole team suffers.

Imagine a team carefully planning their approach, choosing weapons and positions and directions before a match, and then having to be mutable and think quickly and effectively to match the opponents strategy.

I found plenty of possible strategies with only one hour.

so do you believe this game can garner a huge tournament scene and following? I do, massive potential.

How does this work without voice chat?

Ask League of Legends players.

They can type messages to each other, can't they?

Same level with Cod: NO!!!
Maybe like Smash

When Smash for N64 released , did you believe that Smash become so big?
Its funny people say that Smash isnt a real fighting and now smash has one or maybe the biggest Fighting game community play in tournaments.
Apex 2015 hosted 4 Smash games, EVO 2015 host 2 Smash games and
Smash Bros Wii U has more entrants than any other fighting game at CEO 2015

It depends how many fans want to play in tournaments.

This is the type of torunament i was referring to... Watching the team dynamics play out would be great, and how they plan to best the other team. I would watch evo and apex splatoon :1--)

CoD is a popular game to play, but competitive play is not as popular as Counter Strike for example.

OT : We can't know for sure right now, as the biggest factor for the multiplayer's popularity is word of mouth.

Doubt it. Matches are too short, and there's no time to plan stuff during the match. Before? Sure! But what if the other team screws over a part of the plan?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

With no voice chat? No. You can't gather a community or know players to assemble teams.

Even if in tournaments people play side by side, how would the team practice? Sitting down in a room with Wi-fi and 4 Wii Us and 4 TVs?

No voice chat equals no team-play and just a bunch of guys running around and playing by themselves.

I highly doubt it. Even if it took off it'd be fairly niche.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
