Yes I believe in a god. I'm glad I don't think the universe is a cold meaningless place with no purpose, no morality and no ultimate justice. I'm not sure I'd bother carrying on if I felt that way.

I believe the Catholic Church officially accepts the Big Bang and Evolution.
Buddhist Christian over here. And yes, the Big Bang happened, Evolution is a thing and we are statistically unlikely to be alone in the universe.

I cannot choose to believe in a God because deep down I wont.
Same way that you cannot decide to believe the earth is flat.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Meet the founder of the big bang theory.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_Lema%C3%AEtre
"was a Belgian priest, astronomer and professor of physics at the Catholic University of Leuven.[1] He proposed, independently of Russian physicist Alexander Friedman, who found it in 1922, the theory of the expansion of the universe, widely misattributed to Edwin Hubble."
"Lemaître also proposed what became known as the Big Bangtheory of the origin of the Universe, which he called his "hypothesis of the primeval atom" or the "Cosmic Egg".[8]"

That's correct.
From my experience, only the most extremist 'old school' Catholics do not believe in the Big Bang or Evolution.

Cool dude. He was like a self aware Jon Snow.
I'd consider myself fairly agnostic. I defend both sides but many atheists call me a theist... so perhaps I'm agnostic leaning towards theism?

The line between a Sunni and a Shia can be much thinner than you imagine.. because those things are, for the most part, mere titles. The meaning behind them will continue to diverge as time goes, because as new generations come and go, they will influence their respective doctrines with personal conclusions and this will result in sub-doctrines, deviants, and reformers (as evident in every circle, be it religious or not) If there was anything I learned from reading and researching, it's how complicated history is and how distant from the truth we are to even begin thinking that we're "on the right path" and everyone else is misguided. The right path is unknown, guess what? that's one of the reasons why I believe in god. I'll never say alhamdullillah in regards to my beliefs until God directly tells me that I had it right ;)

why dont we just talk on private message, i am afraid if we discussing on open forum, it might invite some troll, or people who just doesn't understand the situation. But that's if you really want to know the truth and seeking further truth about Sunni and Shia.
