Forums - Gaming - What will Nintendo Announce at E3 this Year? Predictions

Release dates and... stuff, eh, i don't see any games that could be announced, of course people say metroid but people say that every E3, with all these delays and shit going on 70% of this years E3 is gonna be stuff we already know about which equals ''unisteresting'' to me, i'm not hyped at all

Why obviously!?

Last E3 Miyamoto said that next E3 Star Fox will be playable and that target is 2015, in december he stated that will come before Zelda U next year.

Last E3 Aonuma said that next E3 Zelda will be playable and that target is 2015, in december he stated that will come after Star Fox U next year.

And yes, I know it's a far more ambitious game, but then again you gotta considering Zelda has been in development since 2011/2012 while Star Fox seems to have begun in 2014. The only games from the last year or so that I can remember Nintendo not delaying were Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros and Splatoon (and Splatoon is incomplete at launch). I just can't see them being done with Star Fox this year - and part of me actually wants them not to, because I don't want a tiny game.

Well you know, almost every Zelda was delayed, that's not a surprise.

Only game from last year that was delayed 2013>2014 was DKTF and that was more a delay with purpose, all other previous games were released in 2014. For this year they delayed only Zelda to next year. Except that Starfox will be one of the biggest titles for holiday.

Miyamoto said that they previously experimenting few years on Wii with Star Fox, so you cant say they begun in 2014.

Mario party wasn't delayed :)

Experimenting doesn't mean the game was in development. From the little we could see at E3 last year, it was clear they had only just started actual work on the game.

Xenoblade X was originally announced for 2014, Yoshi's Woolly World and Mario Maker were 1st half 2015. And... that's all I can remember but there are more. Still, I really don't think they're getting Star Fox out this year, and I don't know if that's a shame or a relief.

Maybe not in full development, but in same way yes.

I dont remember Xenoblade X was 2014 title, Yoshi coming in 1st half in Europe, Mario Maker is not problem, delaying game few months in same year isn't problem, problem is if you delay game for next year.

6 months before E3 they stated that game will be released next year before Zelda U, Zelda U probably was planned for November, so they planned to release Star Fox before that. As I said, Zelda delay is never a surprise, Zelda development dont have nothing with Star Fox development.

Dear Nintendo fans we are happy to announce that.

We bought
Konami
Capcom
Platinum
Sega+Atlus
Bamco
SquareEnix
Level5
From Software

Basically all japanese developers.

We want to make a japanese+hardcore console and everyone that is to dumb to find the next level in mario game when no "line" is pointing to the level can go jump of a cliff because we just want smart people. No more crap shovelware all of that is heading to the phone market.

Also NX will be called Ultra NIntendo Entertainment System

I know you're joking, but that sounds disgusting.

I know you're joking, but that sounds digusting.

That idea is better than the paths that most Japanese developers are taking (read: mobile, F2P, etc.).

A XCX release date, Metroid Wii U, FE x SMT release date and a SMG3 (or something of that ilk) reveal would make me fangirl all over the place.

Ofcourse, new IPs and a surprise like Splatoon last year wouldn't go amiss, either. As for the 3DS, obviously information on FE If and Bravely Second news would be appreciated. Wouldn't be surprised if we here something Zelda related, either.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

The idea of any one console maker buying up the whole japanese industry is horrible, none of them would be able to support all of that, 1000s of people would lose their jobs and tons of smaller game series would disappear because they'd naturally be the first on the cutting board.

The project from Retro.
The project from Next Level Games.
Probably Animal Crossing with amiibo cards.

These three are my safe bets.
