When factoring in the Japan preview, this is a very slow week for all consoles! What's the cause? With Japan numbers in, we should see numbers like this:

Wii: 200k
PS3: 175k
360: 120k

While last week was like this:

Wii: 375k
PS3: 180k
360: 155k

Gaming is a fad?

PS3 seems pretty consistent, but then did recieve a fair boost from Japan...meh, slow months, no major releases for this recorded week really.

No its just march, a usual dry month for gaming sales.

The next week will be amazing for the Wii.

It is a slow week but it'll soon pick up.

So Wii has a slow week, is that what you meant? Look for boatloads of Wiis in America next week.

PS3 is outselling xbox by 50K this week, as oppose to the normal 20-30K. Microsoft can't wait for that price-cut to take effect now.

Wii is as unpredictable as Nintendo's ability to produce quantity demanded amount of goods.

huh? right now the PS3 is outselling the 360 by 20k...certainly not 50k

Unless you were making a prediction after Japans sales which aren't in yet...but even with Japan, the past few weeks im pretty sure the PS3 has only sold 15-20k in Japan, which would bring it to 35k?

Supply diverted for SSBB launch, almost for sure.

Plus the Wii has been wildly inconsistent in supply over the last couple of months in America.

He was basing it on the Japan preview which is a weekly article put out by the site.  The numbers aren't exact but they are good enough for a rough estimate still.  His numbers seem fine to me based on the high estimates~
