This is a possibility, yes.

Here are my predictions for these games:
XCX: 1.2m LT
Splatoon: 1.5m LT
Yoshi: 1.8-2m LT

While XCX and Splatoon will have more hype on the internet, we've seen before that hype doesn't necessarily correlate to explosive sales. I think they will sell well, but Yoshi is a more established brand that's going to be back on consoles for the first time since the N64 and is replicating an art style from an already successful game (Kirby's Epic Yarn). Like I said, all three will do well and I don't really care which one sells the most as I'll be getting all of them, but I can see Yoshi winning here.

People underestimate the power of Yoshi, a lot. If new super luigi u is able to sell 2.3 m, Yoshi with the good reviews, the awesome graphics and the amiibo, can beat that. I think the winner is going to be Splatoon, and XCX is probably the one that deserves the most, but Yoshi is the only safe card here, is the only one that we know 100% sure that is going to succeed.

I think Splatoon will sell most because Nintendo really pushing it, but I can see all three will pass 1m LT.

That's my feeling too; XCX has the handicap of being a JRPG not called Final Fantasy, and Splatoon is an unproven franchise; Yoshi's the only one without any real major strikes against it, and it's the most familiar to gamers.

Individually yes. I think 2m LT is a pretty safe.

Yoshi (2m)> splatoon (1.5m) > XCX (1.2m)

My LT prediction:

Splatoon: 1,500,000
Xeno X: 1,200,000
Yoshi: 1,000,000

So i don't think, but let's see...

I wouldn't think so, as it's not my type of game, but all of the polling data from earlier on in the year put "Yoshi" right behind "Zelda" in terms of sheer interest. I'm guessing at least 1.5m, maybe much more for "Yarn Yoshi".
