You better believe it, but don't take my word for it & go to racing sim site/forums & learn about racing simulation ;P

I mentioned Inside Sim Racing. They specialize in sim racing games and peripherals reviews.  But you don't seem to have picked it up.

I have no desire to argue this with you anyway. So please don't bother to put more spin on this.

Nobody's putting spin on anything... Project CARS is not a sim period. You may enjoy it & like it but it's not a reason to call it a sim! It's what Battlefield is to shooters: a semi-realistic experience, whereas rFactor, iRacing etc. are what Arma is to shooters: a simulator!

The pc version isn't even a racing game, it's just a benchmark title for people to test the power of their rig on.

I tried to buy it today, too bad I don't live in Europe. Still got to wait until the 12th. I don't care whether it's a full sim, half a sim, 2 pints of a sim, it's a racing game with lots of tracks, dynamic time and weather, that's more than enough for me. Plus 45 cars on the track, I've got to experience that. I just hope the loading times are decent and it has instant restart, DriveClub has spoiled me.

GT7 has its work cut out, 200 car endurance races please!

Since everything is accessible from the start I buy it and all the DLC for it when it gets cheap since right now it really doesn't have enough content that would keep me interested beyond a couple of weeks. Since there really only about a handful of cars that I'm interested in trying and most of the tracks I already raced on in other games.

All of this hype for an average game feels like dejavu.

85 is average now?

Average is 60-70, maybe. 80 and up is very good. Especially when it's an agregate.
